Please allow us to introduce ourselves as “Bundesverband Tanz in Schulen e.V.” (Federal Association Dance in Schools):
Public dialogue about cultural education and the networking demands of existing school dance projects led in February 2007 to the formation of a nationwide committee, which was subsidised by the “Federal Ministry of Education and Research.”
The ultimate ambition of “Bundesverband Tanz in Schulen e.V.” as a nationwide, independent and comprehensive affiliation of individuals, projects and institutions is to establish contemporary dance and dance-culture in education. The theory and practice of dance should be brought to all pupils of all ages and at all types of schools. Our target is the long time support of making dance a permanent feature of basic education and to aid in the development of individuals.
